Cre.ate

Human computer interaction (HCI) includes human food interaction (HFI), which is the relationship between oneself and food. Food interactions may stimulate and integrate aesthetic, emotional, and experience components within social interactions, which can be utilised for reflection, comprehension, and recall. This makes food an attractive design material that may be included into new iterative interaction design methodologies. Through user-centred design, Cre.ate focuses on incorporating taste into the interaction design iterative design process . The creation of an edible toolkit demonstrates the importance of taste as a design aspect. The outcomes of a user test done using the Cre.ate toolkit is shown as digital artworks for memory cueing of the 5 basic tastes.
